Total Solar Eclipse - July 22, 2009: Best places on Earth to view By Todd Schafer The total solar eclipse will happen on July 22,2009. This is of extreme importance as it is the longest one the Earth will experience in the 21st century until June 13, 2132. NASA published the eclipse's path as projected by Fred Espenak and Jay Anderson. The total solar eclipse can be seen best in several parts of Asia. A few of the places which total solar eclipse is best to be seen, needs some verification with the immigration in countries for some travel advisories.
