Tom Watson Tops the British Open at Turnberry By Todd Schafer Hilary Watson is the wife of Tom Watson who must be busting with pride today, as her husband takes the lead heading into the final round Sunday of the British Open at Turnberry. Hilary Watson is in Scotland while her golfing husband legend once again spearheads the leaderboard with a one stroke which lead over Mathew Goggin and Ross Fisher after the third round of the 2009 British Open at Turnberry. “I ended on a real good note again. When you have that feel around the greens, that keeps you going.”, Tom Watson said. “It’s just almost surreal, it’s so exciting. We just can’t believe it. He was really relaxed this morning; it didn’t seem to bother him that he was leading. I think even he felt it was a surreal experience.”,Hilary said in a report regarding the week that Tom has had at Turnberry.
