March 13: Charlotte Humane Society Giving Away Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food By Todd Schafer CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Humane Society of Charlotte is receiving a donation of two tons of Rachael Ray’s dog food line Nutrish on Friday, March 13th from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. “The Humane Society of Charlotte is pleased to have the opportunity to give away this healthy dog food to those during these tough economic times,” said David Miller, executive director of the leading no-kill of adoptable animal’s facility that works to find homes for pets throughout the Carolinas. Nutrish is the invention of Rachael Ray, daytime cooking show host star, best selling author and self proclaimed pet lover and the Humane Society of Charlotte has partnered with Ray for this event. The two types of Nutrish dog food that will be given away are “Real Chicken and Veggies” and “Real Beef and Brown Rice.”
