John Madden, an NFL Hall of Fame coach and one of the most popular sports broadcaster, has retired from broadcasting. "It's time. I'm 73 years old. My 50th wedding anniversary is this fall. John Madden began his broadcast career in 1979, after he retired as coach of the Oakland Raiders.
