Former WFAA reporter Matt Quinn killed in Montague wildfires
By Todd Schafer
The wildfires that swept through Montague County on Thursday killed former Channel 8 reporter Matt Quinn and his wife Cathy, according to one of their family member. Matt Quinn's career in the media started at WFAA-TV (Channel 8) in 1980, after working for ABC News. He was the host of a popular regular segment called "Matt Quinn's Chronicles." In 1988, Ed Bark, then the TV critic for The Dallas Morning News, called Quinn a "thoughtful reporter of mood pieces." |
